Just had to write and let you know I actually threaded a needle this week! Sounds like a small thing, but when you need to sew a button on a needle has to be threaded!
I still find myself going to push up my glasses and one day started to look for them before I left the house.
I still have to get new lenses in my favorite sunglasses. Going to donate all my glasses to the Lion's Club or some organization for the needy.
This was one of the very best experiences of my life. No pain and wonderful vision. Everyone I came in contact with were very professional and warm. I knew I was in good hands and felt very calm and confident, alot due to their confidence. My first contact was you Rey. Talking to you boosted my confidence. I am so glad I had this surgery. I know I have been considering it for the last 10 years and always talking myself out of it because I was concerned about complications. Finally, I decided to just go for it. I had worn glasses since I was 7 or 8 years old. Finally, after 30 years of glasses. I am able to see. It's been 2 months and throughout that time, I have been occassionally reaching to my temple to adjust my glasses. ha ha. I suppose old habits die hard. My friend told me that losing my glasses has taken years off me.. I guess that means I musta been wearing my Old lady glasses.

Greetings ! After much thought and trepidation, I finally booked an appointment with Dr. Steve. The day of the surgery found me nervous and tense. At the clinic I saw people relaxing in leather recliners with blankets and large aquariums in each waiting room. After pre-op and still a little tense I met Dr. Steve and instantly I fell into a calm and relaxed state. His confidence and calm professional manner made me think of how great it was going to be...to wake up every morning and be able to see, without blurring! Of course, all went very well and (against recommendations)I drove my girlfriend and myself home to Kelowna that night with crystal clear vision. I've never had any problems since. It's been about 18 months now since my surgery, and I know that I'm seeing very well because I've started taking my new and wonderful vision for granted. You and your staff at all times acted with consideration, and were great with putting me at ease during the procedure and the throughout the healing process. I had a very strong prescription and had been wearing glasses for 25 years...Since the surgery, I've learned to swim, played better golf, and even gotten married! I have hunted all of my life, and the one part of the hunting experience that I never looked forward to was getting up early in the morning and fumbling with trying to put in contacts with a flashlight and a little compact mirror. This year however was much different. Not only was I ready to go without the "contact" delay, but my clarity and ability to see the animals must have improved ten fold from past years. Thank you so much for your expertise that was proven to me with this surgery. I have had no problems whatsoever, and have improved to 20:15 vision since the procedure. This is by far one of the greatest impacts to my life in the 30 years that I have been alive.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for such a tremendous gift: the return of my sight.
I have worn glasses for the last twelve years and what a hindrance they have been. Every activity I enjoy, from skydiving to scuba diving, has been affected by my need to wear glasses. Even the mundane day-to-day tasks become more difficult without clear vision.
It is amazing how differently everything now looks, how much crisper objects are, it is almost as if I am seeing things through a new set of eyes. Amazingly, I am!
I will never forget the first morning after my surgery, I stepped outside with my coffee as I do every morning, to take in the view, and I could actually make out the distinct details of the leaves of trees at a distance. Truly gorgeous!
