Orbscan llz

ORBSCAN llz
topography is derived from a series of slit-beam images. It is a computerized system that measures your corneal thickness and produces a 3D map of the curvature and elevation of both the front and back surfaces of the cornea.  The orbscan measures 9,000 points, providing a more accurate assessment of your cornea than an ultrasound pachymetry. correction.

Below is a partial set of slit-beam images. Only one quarter of the forty images are shown (every other one of the slit-beams projected from camera left). The crystalline lens as well as the iris and cornea can be seen. In this particular instance, the pupil was partially dilated.

Advanced Corneal-Topographer

The TMS-2N is part of the latest generation of the TOMEY instruments that have been designed for high accuracy and patient comfort.  The TMS-2N has applications in a wide range of clinical procedures such as refractive surgery. It can be used both for pre-surgical planning and post-surgical evaluations.  It continues to set the standard for resolution, accuracy and corneal coverage.  Some of the benefits include Keratoconus screening and Height maps.
